The Technology

Lotic.ai is a well-being platform that combines behavioral science, storytelling, and data-driven insights to help individuals understand themselves better and build healthy habits. Users engage with science-backed storytelling prompts and personalized journaling tools, which are analyzed by Lotic's AI-driven Wisdom Engine™ to uncover patterns in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This process empowers users to gain clarity and agency over their personal narratives, fostering personal growth and improved well-being.

Through our collaboration with Lotic.ai, we offer a dedicated module for new parents, focusing on the unique challenges and experiences of parenthood.

The “Why”

The United States faces significant challenges in maternal and infant health, with maternal and infant mortality rates notably higher than those in other developed nations, despite having the highest healthcare spending. In 2022, the U.S. reported 22 maternal deaths per 100,000 live births, more than double the rate of other high-income countries.

This crisis disproportionately affects communities of color and underserved areas. For example, Black women face a maternal mortality rate nearly three times higher than White women, while infants born to Black mothers experience mortality rates more than double those of White infants.

Geographic location also plays a role, with rural and lower-income areas facing significantly higher maternal and infant mortality rates than the national average.

We believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality support and resources.
